This was a classic homemade dessert in my household growing up and often made during family parties or for birthdays. Typically, dessert consisted of mostly sliced fruit so it was always a special treat when we made this. The ladles of mixed, canned fruit and jelly in a sweet and syrupy coconut broth is what brought this candle scent into fruition.
